To reduce the risk of spreading the virus most of our staff will continue to work from home. We will be running a “skeleton crew” at the workshop and scale this up and down as required.
CALL OUTS
Stuck somewhere? No worries, just give us a call and we’ll send a technician your way as normal.
PARTS ORDERS
Please just phone ahead for parts and battery orders so we can have these prepared for you prior to arrival.
CONTACTLESS DROP OFF & PICK UP
There is a designated contactless Drop Off and Pick Up Station for all couriers and customers to use upon arrival.
DELIVERIES
We are able to do contactless deliveries, so you don’t need to venture out. Just give us a call or flick us an email to make arrangements.
PAYMENT
Contactless payments are available, but there will be no handling of cash during Level 3. Please phone ahead to arrange payment with our admin support team otherwise if you are an account customer, no worries, invoices will be sent out as usual.
HYGIENE PROCEDURES
Gisborne Autoelectrics will do everything we can to keep you and our people safe. Some of those measures are regular disinfecting our high use workshop surfaces and equipment as well as common touch points of your vehicle prior to commencing work, regular handwashing and keeping safe working distances between staff members. PPE is available to all our workers.
FACE COVERINGS
Our staff will be wearing face masks as legally required during Alert Level 3 & 2. We will ask you to do the same while on our premises.
CONTACT TRACING
Please use the QR code on our doors to scan in. If this is not an option, we will ask visitors for their details as we are required by the New Zealand Government to record every person entering the premises. This is to help track people who may have been exposed to COVID-19. It is not used for any other purpose as your privacy is very important to us.
